What appealed to me was the stark contrast between the sleek modern tower in the background and the old building in the foreground. As well as the visual appeal of the contrast, there is the tension between two ideologies - neo-liberalism as represented by the tower and anti-capitalism as embodied in Non Commercial House where goods are donated, swapped and re-used and recycled...but no money changes hands!
