On a dull Sunday, my family decided to take my sister, brothers and I to Ngandayala in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Ngandayala is a place where people usually camp and organize picnics. As we were all on the pirogue, my brothers were complaining about how bored they were despite being surrounded by those Congolese people who are less fortunate. This image is of great importance to me because it represents the poverty in the Democratic Republic of Congo. These kids are malnourished and their mothers are helpless and miserable.
