I took this at the Christmas Market last night. I'd hoped to go back there this evening, but it has been a very long day and my cracked rib (it's a long story) is giving me some serious grief. So I had a play with the shots from last night instead, and sepia seemed to work on this one. Photos can't convey the true atmosphere of the Christmas Market, the sounds and smells, the pushing and shoving :)

Roast chestnuts, wild boar sausages, mulled wine, yummy! I'm putting together a gallery of the Market here http://www.lightanddreamsphotography.com/Travel/LINCOLN-CHRISTMAS-MARKET-2009/10526553_uJU9o#731057440_yNTeM

Huge thanks to everyone who has taken the time to comment on my photos while I've been busy elsewhere again. Especially those of you who take the time to visit my other galleries.

SmugMug > keywords > crowds > Hope for a new dawn. Barack Obama's inauguration set record of 1.8 million in attendance, more than any event held in the nation's capital.
SmugMug > keywords > crowds > 07.31.09 = What's a fair without "fair food"? Popcorn, candied apples and cotton candy; three good old fashioned treats.

Have a great weekend everyone!

Rut Alert!!!! I had so much fun with the shots in the alleyway the other day that I thought I'd do it again :) I've presented this slightly differently, because I've always been fascinated by the concept of parrallel universes, mulitple dimensions etc. We also often see the same scene very differently, hence the Police always struggle with conflicting witness statements! Many animals see the world very differently to us, some see light in the infra red and/or ultra violet spectrums. All in all this could just be a b******t caption, but ultimately you will have have your different interpretations of this image, or I hope you will anway :)

Now back to my manic Friday, catch you on the other side!
