SmugMug > keywords > devil > 10-20-09 / Here's another shot taken with the Nikkor 10.5mm f/2.8 Fish Eye. It's a low level shot of the bass player. I did a lot of hand PP on this one to bring out all the detail and make it look like a Sepia type HDR but it is a single frame shot. Most of the processing consisted of hand Dodging & burning techniques to enhance the shadows & highlights that were already visible, but I was able to bring out the grain in the wood of the bass, ceiling, clothing, face and walls to really make an artistic piece out of this one. It's one of my favorite shots for the band shoot. The venue was decorated for Halloween which gave me some nice details to work with as well.
