SmugMug > keywords > dinghy > August 17, 2009 Down to the harbor again this afternoon on my way home; I'm just loving how quick and easy this spot has become for my photo of the day. Thanks to everyone for their kind words about my photo yesterday...I've been really busy and have not had a lot of time to keep up with the dailes or post many comments, but will try to catch up soon. We are off to Lake Como, Italy tomorrow, one of our favorite spots on the planet. We have been taking our kids there on and off for 10 years, so when my husband suggested a quick trip I got my bag packed lickety split. (Yay, a new place to photograph! I'll try to refrain from shots of boats in the harbor, however.)

SmugMug > keywords > dinghy > July 12, 2009 My daughters and I left Nantucket today to attend our soon-to-be daughter/sister in-law's bridal shower in Connecticut; it was an absolutely gorgeous day and we loved meeting all Lauren's friends and extended family. I returned to Nantucket with just enough time to head into town for a few photos--I found this wonderful old wooden dinghy down near the harbor and loved how it glowed in the late afternoon sun. I added a mild HDR effect using the Topaz Adjust filter.
