SmugMug > keywords > foutain > Monday, April 6, 2009 - You will see tons of flowers over the next few days so I thought I would give you something different. This is one of the two Chuhuili glass exhibits left at the Atlanta Botanical Gardens. The other is a hanging piece but it is being cleaned right now.

I had a great time yesterday - it was hard physically but looking through the viewfinder takes me away from the pain at least for a little while. There were quite a few people but it was not over crowded, I saw all kinds of cameras along with the flowers - you could hear the birds and the shouts from a soccer field in the park below and of course you could hear all the conversations about lenses, this lens - that lens, where to buy, what to buy - it was just so much fun. Photographers are mostly a friendly sort and you could chat move on and then run into each other and chat again. I heard a lot of people directing others to the spot where they got some wonderful shots. (I had at least 3 different people who were using POS asking me about my camera and of course I recommeneded that they look for a Nikon.

Looking at all those lovely flowers just strengthens my faith in God and him being the creator, and I marvel at the differences yet the similariaties in the flowers, trees, birds, and His greatest creation people. We are all so very different but yet the same. I look around at people and how different they are and I marvel at His creativity and ingenuity. He gave me a thought years ago that changed my thinking - I was perturbed at a person and just could not understand them when I was gifted with the thought that it takes all the differences in people to even begin to show the many facets of God himself. We are made in His image and we cannot put Him into a box and He loves us all no matter what our differences are. It is a marvel to contemplate.

Have a blessed Monday - Tell someone how special they are today.
