SmugMug > keywords > gloomy > Iran - Storm in Esfahan When I took this shot of very unusual stormy cloud, that actually looks more like a painting than photo, vision of darkness and fear came to my mind, especially because of all that stigma there is about Iran these days. We all do feel fear whenever we face something new or unknown. Usually we fear things we don't understand. Fear of failure. Fear of success. Fear of any or all of a dozen or more things - real or imagined. Fear, it would seem, is the enemy we must conquer in order to reach the &quot;Promised Land&quot; of our dreams and goals. Everyone has fears - even the extraordinarily successful. So why then do some achieve their dreams while others do not? SmugMug > keywords > gloomy > Day Before the Storm. With 60mph gusts, horizontal rain and sleet, yesterday was an eerie calm to today's big storm. Just wish this had far less noise and much more quality to it than it does. :\
