SmugMug > keywords > gore > Roller Derby Chainsaw Massacre The theme of this image is a psychotic derby girl gone mad. She is cutting up an opponent while more victim derby girls wait to meet their end. Tech Info: Main derby girl was lit with five lights. The main light was camera left @ f/8. Fill light was directly next to camera at f/4. I also had two kickers on either side and slightly behind. These were both at f/8. I also had a stobe to camera right and high to fill in the table. Each of the derby girls hanging from chains were shot independantly with one strobe overhead to give it that street light effect. All six shots were then blended and manipulated in Photoshop. My Pentax K10D was mounted on a Bogen tripod and never moved throughout the shoot so the images would line up in pp.
