total desperation shot at the end of a long day. my slippers are once again clean after I ran thru the mud twice on Monday w/ 'em on.
I left the house around 8 this morning to do my grocery shopping. I'm actually going to be shopping by the weekly flyer and not just strictly on base. back home I had tons of grocery stores to choose from, but here I have only 3 (Kroger, super WallyWorld and the commissary). it's going to take awhile to get used to but I'm sure I'll see some serious savings before too long. right now it's just very time consuming! I didn't get home until almost 11!
the rest of my day consisted of cleaning out the fridge, putting the haul away and starting on the house. I've got the guest room totally done- room dusted, floor vacuumed and steam cleaned. tomorrow I've got to make up the bed and It'll be ready for my brother next week!!
the boys started their exams today. both boys think they did well on 'em. they said there wasn't anything that they struggled w/ and they completed every question. tomorrow they will each have two more. I know they've done a lot of studying in class over the last two weeks... plus my boys are smarties! :0)
I've still gotta pick up Dad & June's xmas gift and get that in the mail. I think that'll happen on Friday morning. it's not going to be much but I think they'll enjoy it.
