Well I did it... decided to start some self portraits. Even though my favorite place is behind the camera it dawned on me that I had very few photos of Rodney (dh) and I together. I know I won't have much time to figure out the remote and such when Rodney's there so I guess I'll have to start practicing on myself.

Today I learned...
    - It's really hard knowing just where to sit when the camera is mounted on the tripod way above you on the deck. Especially when the dogs keep hearing the camera click and are bumping the tripod trying to figure out what all the noise is about. LOL!
    - I hate the dark circles under my eyes even more than I thought I did... ugghhh!
    - Hiding the remote is not easy. (Will try the remote with time delay next time).
    - I hate the dark circles under my eyes even more than I thought I did... ugghhh!
    - Animals don't cooperate when your trying to take self portraits.
    - I hate the dark circles under my eyes even more than I thought I did... ugghhh!
    - Most of the photos end up in the recycle bin...
    - Did I mention I hate the dark circles under my eyes... LOL!!! UGGHHH!!!
Not sure how often or how many of these I'll attempt... we'll see. Sure hope my mug doesn't scare you'll off to badly. Technical comments and critiques and advice greatly welcomed but please don't remind me how awful I look ~ I know that already! Thanks :-D

not a bad way to spend a Sunday! :0)
