SmugMug > keywords > judy pay > The turbo-prop Air Tractor demonstrated aerodynamic airflow over its wing with smoke from the exhaust and water from the spray booms. The stationary boundary layer over the wing's camber is very evident and shows how far back the centre of aerodynamic pressure lives on this airfoil.

The small prop under the fuselage drives a centrifugal compressor for the spray mechanism. Looking suspiciously like an automotive turbocharger adapted for the task.
