SmugMug > keywords > lincoln park > Crooked This is one of the shots from the family photo shoot I did last month. Every time I see this photo of my little buddy D it makes me smile.
SmugMug > keywords > lincoln park > Pink Dress, Orange Sunglasses Yet another one from the family photo shoot last weekend. I thought this one was just so sweet and funny all at the same time. I converted it to b+w as well and while that one feels more timeless, I still like the color version as well.
SmugMug > keywords > lincoln park > Grandparents and Grandchildren I have some other shots of the baby looking at me, but in those two of the kids are either not looking or have their hands in front of their faces, etc. The composition would be a little better if the g-parents were a bit closer and if the girl on the left was perhaps on their laps as well. The sun on grandma and the baby is also bothering me, and I knew it was going to be a problem, however I felt I risked losing the attention and faces of the kids if I dared to readjust. Will have to work on that skill. I'm curious what I could've done to make the DOF more shallow? The background is a little too much in focus. I shot at f/5 with 1/200 exposure, at an ISO of 400. Even with its issues, what I love about this photo are the genuine smiles of everyone, There is also something about the park bench that just makes if feel like the quintessential grandparents photo.
