SmugMug > keywords > mess > March 16 '09 day 246 office this is my new office! it's a mess now but the light... it's gorgeous! just a quick shot. it's been a rough day and it's not even over yet! we're dog-sitting for a friend who is out of town this week for work. well, while i was slaving away cleaning the old house, i thought it would be best if i left all 3 mutts out in the backyard seeing as how the visitor likes to eat toilet paper and stuffed animals. brilliant, right? yeah not so much. he dug a hole under the gate and i came home to a note from animal control. wonderful! i call up animal control and they tell me that he was picked up because a neighbor called complaining that he was "acting vicious" (baring his teeth, growling and barking) at them. so i give the officer all the info so he can make sure the dogs shots are current and that he's licensed, etc. and i'm called to pick him up. when i get there, i asked the officer if he would tell me which neighbor it was so that i can go explain that he's not my dog and apologize. he tells me that he are prohibited by law from releasing that info, BUT he's already called the neighbors and explained that i'm just watching him until Friday! thank you Officer Terry!! could you imagine what those people thought? here's this family who has just moved in and they've got this wild dog... i'm just glad that's taken care of and i don't have any annoyed/angry/pitchfork wielding torch carrying neighbors after me... happy Monday friends! :o)
