SmugMug > all-time keyword > monochrome > 7.11.09 - Lamplight Thank-you for the wonderful response to my ghostly collage yesterday, I hope it encourages a few people to try something similar for the first time. The original version of this image was taken at the same time, but I thought it would look better with a "ghost" walking up the steps. Last night I went back and took a few shots with me in them, but they didn't quite look how I wanted, something was missing. I eventually worked out that what was missing was the rain on the flagstones, giving a nice sheen in the lamplight. So I decided to re-work this image as B&W, and added a dark vignette to give a more claustrophobic atmosphere.
