SmugMug > all-time keyword > mythology > Athens:Parthenon Corner Perspective Parthenon taken from low-angle perspective to show some of the interior carvings. Taken from Northwest corner. Scenes of ancient conflicts are shown above the columns. This perspective hides the scaffolding while showing much of the structure and internal detail. The overcast sky helped achieve even lighting and display of the interior detail. (Technical note: Although photo was taken by shooting upwards, the image does not show a pronouced perspective tilt seen in similar images of the Parthenon shot from this angle.)
