I especially liked the orange & white daffodil against the sharp blue of the sky. Sorry for the archival shots but until I'm fully recovered, I won't be taking any new photos. Dianne, I hope you see this -- I LOVE LOVE LOVE your "Cat in the Hat" photo from today!

I really need to buy a white balance card so this doesn't keep happening on certain colors! Thank you for all the wonderful feedback on McFlurry's picture. I hope to take a few more this week, but can't promise anything. It's taking all my energy just to be online for a few minutes a day.

Last picture from me for a while. Somehow I managed to contract bacterial pneumonia and have been suffering with horrific pain in my left lower lung since late Thursday. Absolutely nothing I've taken alleviates the pain, so I guess I'll have to tough it out until the antibiotics take effect. This is my 6th bout with pneumonia in 50 years...

These are blooms from our yard: there are three or four different varieties of daffodils, mixed with woodland hyacinths. This bouquet has a wonderfully fresh scent!
