This is another shot from yesterday that I've worked on this evening. Today has been another busy day, including one bizarre incident. It was very windy, and as I was driving home this evening a large wheelie bin (trash bin) blew into the road and hit my car. It smashed a wing mirror and caused a few minor bumps and scratches that I could do without right now.

Well at least you've been spared another SP today, but don't inspect this 3 shot photomerge panorama too closely, it isn't technically great. I went blackberry picking on the old quarry after work this evening, there is a wonderful crop to last through the Summer, yum yum.

It has been a beautiful day today, but this bank of cloud came in to blot out the sunset. It looks like an old blown out storm that shed it's load somewhere to the West of Lincoln, which thankfully most storms do. The UK is a land of westerlies, so living on the Eastern side means we stay relatively dry. Originally I was disappointed with the sky, but the more I look at it the more I like the subtle flecks of colour in the clouds and the richness of the ground.

At the end of one of the most ridiculously stressful weeks in a long time I decided to unwind in photoshop. Tomorrow will tell if it worked!

Well today was the longest day of the year, so the days are getting shorter again, but the wildflowers are only getting started. I spotted this patch of Common Mallow (I think that's what they are anyway) on a run, but when I went back with the camera it was getting a bit dark. Luckily this just seemed to make the colours richer.

Usually I use collages when I can't make my mind up between several shots, but this one is because I couldn't get all of this clump in focus at the same time in the low light.

I've got out of my night photography rut, but I seem to be back in a flower one :)

This afternoon I went out to photograph a bluebell wood, but ended up joining a group walk round a nature reserve instead. I've got loads of photos to process now, but this one will do for my Daily. I didn't see the little bug when I took it, but he makes up for the Early Purple Orchid not being as sharp as I'd have liked. I'll link to the whole gallery when I've got it up, probably tomorrow morning.

Late Edit, the gallery from today is up early here; http://www.lightanddreamsphotography.com/gallery/7949324_iton4#516030754_Zt9bW
