Second image from this day - but it was shot with a different camera. Included because underwater macro shots with the W10 have been getting lots of attention on my site lately, but I liked the Damselfly macro from the 20d better than this novelty shot. I actually liked a sunset sillouette even more, but just posted several sunset with angler variations from this lake and thought I would throw up something different. Copyright © 2006 J. SmugMug > keywords > pentax w10 > First images taken with new Pentax W10. Camera was purchased for underwater macro imaging of fish and insects, so I thought that the first images should be such images. Subjects were a golden stone and a small water boatman. Twenty images were shot, with lack of light - leading to slower sutter speeds being the reason for the low keeper rate. The first images were taken with a flash, the subsequent without. Images are as shot camera jpg's with default 'underwater macro' presets.
