SmugMug > keywords > pescadero > I had never been up Page Mill Road, into the Santa Cruz Mountains, and over to the coast so my girlfriend thought it would be a great excuse to play with my new camera (Nikon D300s). It was noon and the lighting was pretty poor, so I took 5 photos and combined them into this HDR.

SmugMug > keywords > pescadero > When we finally got over the peak of the Santa Cruz Mountains we could see the ocean. I asked Sammi to pull off the road so I could take some photos. The hills/ocean were gorgeous but the pictures came out somewhat flat. I did however, find these neat pole and thought it would make for some good photos I can't decide which one of these 3 I like best. I like this view of the post best, but it doesn't include as much of the interesting hills
SmugMug > keywords > pescadero > The road curved pretty sharply and I thought it could make for a neat picture. I sent Sammi out behind me to yell at me if a car was coming since I was lying on the pavement to take this.
SmugMug > keywords > pescadero > Page Mill Road runs into Alpine Road as you get into the Santa Cruz Mountains. As you continue closer to the coast the big Redwood trees start popping up. We drove through some gorgeous trees with houses burried amongst them. Super jealous of those peoples homes!
SmugMug > keywords > pescadero > After driving from Menlo Park via Page Mill Road/Alpine Road we ended up in Pescadero. We parked and found a cute little antique store that had this cart out front. I couldn't help taking this photo! I think I liked the closer cropping better (see next photo).
SmugMug > keywords > pescadero > Once in Pescadero we found a cute little antique store and went in. Out back was another wooden cart with some flowers and cans in it. Another neat photo.
SmugMug > keywords > pescadero > Once we parked in Pescadero we walked around the cute little town. I found this old wooden sign pointing towards a shop and thought that the texture was really neat.
SmugMug > keywords > pescadero > Stage Road Shops turned out to just be 1 small shop but I really liked the texture of the old wood building.
