Where's a broken piano when you need one? I couldn't actually get the key to stay down, so I had to keep it pushed down with my left hand while shooting with a stupidly long lens in my right. Taking one clean shot of the piano and another with me holding down the key, I mashed together this rather rough comp. Gotta remember the tripod next time!

In terms of how I feel about this photo - it's a little sterile. Would have been interesting if I had wheeled it outdoors into the middle of the street, but when you only have five minutes to set up a light and take the shot, you don't wait around. You just do it. In a way though, the sterility emphasizes the broken key and allows your focus to go straight there, so I guess I achieved what I set out to do. Although a piano in the middle of traffic would have been pretty cool.
