SmugMug > keywords > pitch > Sunday, October 25, 2009 Today was Ethan's last fall baseball game of the season. Last week's game was canceled due to too much rain in the days prior to the game, which saturated the fields and made them unplayable. Yesterday was a gorgeous day here, which allowed things to dry out a bit. There was some light sprinkling this morning, and the fields were muddy and slippery, but as it was the last game, we went for it anyway. I was glad they didn't have to miss it, even though it meant we parents had to sit in the cold for a few hours. :) Ethan got to pitch again, and he did a great job. He has learned a lot this season and had a really great time. Now we are looking forward to a break in our schedule before spring ball comes around!
