SmugMug > keywords > placid > October 11, 2008 - Lake Placid Panorama This is a photo of Mirror Lake in the Village of Lake Placid NY. This was the location for the 1932 and 1980 Winter Olympic Games. In the background on the left is Whiteface Mountain where the Alpine Ski events took place. I attended the 1980 games. I have been away for the Columbus Holiday weekend. Will catch up on the Photo a Day this week.
