Looking between two rows of rebar.  This is on one side of a bridge under construction.

Just some exposed rebar set in old concrete on a bridge in a park nearby. The photo actually turned out uninteresting. Strangely, the treatment to black and white relieved its tediousness somewhat. Now it's almost ... pretty!

Each is tied to the steel in two places with safety hooks, lanyards, and full body harness to provide protection from falling. SmugMug > keywords > rebar > Demolition/concrete construction: Caterpillar 345BL track mounted hydraulic backhoe excavator fitted with pulverizer attachment picks reinforcing bars out of debris pile and transports bars to the bar shear/lopper to be cut into smaller pieces. This muncher is responsible for munching the old concrete off the reinforcing bars so the resteel can be sheared and recycled.
