SmugMug > keywords > ruins > All that remains of the smaller of the two mink farms that used to be down the road from me. The stone foundation of the tiny two story farm house. Apparently it had a full cellar beneath the place as it goes about 12 feet or so down. I think it's been over five years or so that this place was burned down, many more since it was cleared out by the family. I believe the farm land was purchased by development for many more million dollar homes in the area... as if there weren't enough. You can't even tell this is the same place I've been in my whole life... every inch of farm land is gone and turned into golf courses with enormous and expensive homes. This particular farm was the smaller of the two and the last to be cleared out by many years. When they left the fire department used it as a controlled burn for practice. They basically took all the crap they couldn't burn though and tossed it back in the woods behind the place which kind of pisses me off...
