SmugMug > all-time keyword > scenery > I am lucky to capture this moment. This picture is taken when there is a sudden burst of sunlight from the east of this picture. Waterfall was hidden from the sunlight by the trees surrounding them and hence is darken while the momiji leaves in front of it has a full blast of sun. For comparison, the next picture is without the burst of sunlight. Enjoy !

SmugMug > all-time keyword > scenery > I had never been up Page Mill Road, into the Santa Cruz Mountains, and over to the coast so my girlfriend thought it would be a great excuse to play with my new camera (Nikon D300s). Along the way we came to this really pretty bend in the road. I made her pull over so I could take some photos. It was noon and the lighting was pretty poor, so I took 5 photos and combined them into this HDR.

SmugMug > all-time keyword > scenery > Page Mill Road is pretty narrow and curvy and Sammi didn't want to pull over in the middle of the road. We found a small parking lot about 100yards from where I wanted to shoot so she pulled off and waited for me to finish playing.
SmugMug > all-time keyword > scenery > When we finally got over the peak of the Santa Cruz Mountains we could see the ocean. I asked Sammi to pull off the road so I could take some photos. The hills/ocean were gorgeous but the pictures came out somewhat flat. I did however, find these neat pole and thought it would make for some good photos I can't decide which one of these 3 I like best. I like this view of the post best, but it doesn't include as much of the interesting hills
