SmugMug > keywords > scrap > Young scrap buyer/seller. Street scenes around Buriganga, Dhaka, Bangladesh. With poor and meagre living conditions life is a daily struggle for survival. Yet everyone I met had a smile on their face. Inspite and beyond the poverty and pathetic living conditions.
SmugMug > keywords > scrap > Canada - Ontario - Milton Almost every day on my way home from work on the GO Train I see this pick-up truck in the field. I have so wanted to take its picture for the longest time. It just seems so out of place. But what really makes it interesting to me is the graffiti. It just wouldn't be the same without it.
SmugMug > keywords > scrap > Pobeda" cars awaiting scrapping in a backyard near "Bourul" leather factories, Bucharest, 2006. These cars were communist official vehicles in the 1950-1960's era. Very tough, built after a 1941 Chevrolet, they were later licensed in Poland with the name "Warschawa" and lasted, in Romania at least, toward 1980's. I must confess, the water is not real.
