SmugMug > keywords > seagulls > 2009-09-25 - Swede Lake - Carver County - MN - Seagull On Post A friend and I were planning a photography weekend and the night before we left we decided to run over to a lake near his house to see if we could find some pelicans that he had seen earlier that week. We saw the pelicans, but had a difficult time finding a spot that we could photograph them without reeds in the way. When we finally managed to get into a position to view them over the reeds, the sun peaked out of the clouds and gave us the nice late evening glow. I like how the seagulls in the background are also lit up by the sun
