SmugMug > keywords > seeds > 2009-11-06 - Coon Rapids Dam Regional Park - MN - Plant Seeds I was walking through the park following some deer trails when I heard the sound of water bubbling. I squeezed my way through the bushes and came out into a marshy field with a small brook running through it. The brook was pretty much grown over completely so that I could barely even see any water, which is why I did not get a picture of it. However, the afternoon sun was shining down on these plants and I liked the way the fuzzy seeds were backlit by the sun. At 400mm and f6.3, it also created a nice blurred background with some highlights that made this a very pleasing picture (to me at least). This is a very slight crop to 15 megapixels to improve the framing slightly.
