SmugMug > keywords > senior citizen > I have never really tried self-portraits before, so this is my first serious effort. Unfortunately, it coincided with my D300 LCD going black and some problems with the D300 focusing. I called Nikon and I'm going to have to send the camera in for servicing. I would take a picture or two and then load the card into my laptop so that I could see what I took. Reminds me of the old days of film when you never knew what you got until it was developed. Pretty laborious. I'll probably experiment a bit more with this with my D80, which I use as a backup, which means that I've never really used it at all. My husband normally uses it as his camera. I'm lucky, though, to have a backup at all.
