SmugMug > keywords > shimmy > February 27, 2008 Girls Night Out -- Shimmy & Shake for a Healthy Heart A very creative and enegetic hospital marketing director invited women to come into the hospital after work yesterday to learn about heart health. How did she get them there? Girls Night Out! Wine and hors d'oeuvres, a very engaging female cardiologist speaker -- AND a belly-dancing demonstration followed by a lesson. She had quite a crowd of good sports. Women of all ages laughed, wiggled, and giggled together, and we all learned SOMETHING new! Belly dancing never appealed to me before this event, but I have to admit, I am intrigued. MMMM. . . supposed it's time to get the cholesterol checked too.
