This propeller belongs to the William A. Irvin, a retired 610 foot ore boat now residing in Duluth, Minnesota as a floating museum. The Irvin was launched in 1937 and retired in 1978. She's a classic "straight decker," meaning that her spar deck isn't cluttered with a massive self-unloading boom.
