SmugMug > keywords > shrub > 11-10-09: Another night time shot... I actually stopped to get a different shot, that didn't make the cut. These shrubs were nearby and caught my eye. Thankfully the artificial lighting served its purpose... that and a little effect editing. I had a hard time getting the shot i wanted - the "flowers" in focus and the leaves not. I would have kept trying, but the mosquitoes were eating me alive.

SmugMug > keywords > shrub > In the campground at the Great Sand Dunes National Park in southern Colorado - The early morning sun's rays light up people, grasses and shrubs. The detail of the light and its effects on the grasses and plants is best viewed in the largest sizes. I think this one is worth the time it takes to view it in the larger size. I'd suggest 3x. Thanks to those of who commented on my "Magic Fingers" shot of the piano player. I'm not done experimenting with strobes. I've set up a gallery for these experiments.
