SmugMug > keywords > socks > Smiley Socks ~ Happy Feet Here's a pair of socks I got yesterday in none other than Vandalia's Dollar General. $2 wasn't a bad price to pay for a smile and several good belly laughs when I got home :-) Of course I had to wear them today. Can't hold the camera up due to my ruptured disks right now, but put it on the tripod and snapped away with the remote - lol. Rodney laughed even harder when I asked him to help me set it up and again when I was posing my toes. His belly hurts! LOL! PAD DATE: August 29th, 2009

SmugMug > keywords > socks > Two At A Time Socks February 6, 2008 Finishing up on my latest knit project--two socks at a time! Though it looks complicated, it's actually not. I switched to this sock-knitting method after making my last pair two different sizes. Now, knitted at the same time, there's no forgetting what I did to one so I can do it on the other. And--both socks are the same size! Hooray! I put a glowing edges filter on this shot because the original shot looked boring and I liked the cool, greenish/bluish glow on the needles. (For any curious fellow sock knitters who haven't tried this method, I used a book I'd recommend: 2-at-a-time SOCKS)

SmugMug > keywords > socks > Eco Chic Thu. January 22, 2009 (Day 282) Back to Basic (SOOC) day 6 of 8. I had nasty acid-reflux from seafood at Chili's... so couldn't sleep at all. Less than 3 hrs sleep is not good for this eco chick. This photo was actually taken on the plane on the way to Florida (01/23/09). We're going to have a suprise party for our grandma's 90th birthday.
