I took this picture at UNM today. I saw this young man when it was too late to get a picture. I commented that I'd like to get some pictures of him skating and he complied. To see the story on my BLOG go to:

Behind him is a parking garage. The odd step type things are.... visual? They seem to have no logical purpose. It isn't quite an amphitheater, but would work well for shooting tiers of people. Great for skate boarding.
My camera died today. If you read the BLOG entry after the one I linked--or is it before? It tells the rest of the story. I had a very restless night last night and my dreams were all very real and disturbing. I dreamed that I had brought my camera to UNM and got some great pictures before my German class. In the dream... I was going to take a picture looking over the side of a building and I dropped my camera.... This morning, I took my camera to school. I was excited by several of my pictures. After my German class, I was leaning over the balcony to take some pictures and the camera quit working--no, I did not drop it! It just died. I cried when I got home.
I knew it was getting close to the end. It had problems.... I can't imagine a day without taking pictures. I don't know when I will be able to afford a new camera. I have enough pictures to continue the Daily Photo for quite a while, but I may not feel like it.
I want to Thank all of you for your comments and encouragement. I enjoy participating here. I have enjoyed the challenge of taking new pictures and doing more when I post process them.
Thanks!
