SmugMug > keywords > towhee > California Towhee This towhee isn't much to look at (although I like the eyes), and it's "song" is just a chirp. Still, it strikes a "stately" pose. Perhaps it's not endangered because it's so plain: nobody wanted it feathers for whatever purpose.
