SmugMug > all-time keyword > tzo > Lions The first area in the predator section had a pride of lions. A rather lazy pride. They didn’t do much other than look at us in a disinterested fashion.
SmugMug > all-time keyword > tzo > Flights of Birds The birds we saw at the beginning didn’t confine themselves to one area. We saw them flying all over the park. They would move from one area to another in flights of 10-20. The end result is there was a lot of constant streaming overhead.

SmugMug > all-time keyword > tzo > Feed Lot Up Close It was quite a trip to see so many Giraffes together like that. They were next to a platform that you could go up on and buy food to throw to them.
SmugMug > all-time keyword > tzo > Safariworld Our Final animal encounters were at Safari world. It is a drive through (only) animal park. You follow a road through flocks of birds, herds of range animals and then through a double gate to the predators.
SmugMug > all-time keyword > tzo > More laying around A couple of tigers laying around together. Steve said that the zoo drugs their food. Given their lethargy I believe it.
SmugMug > all-time keyword > tzo > What are you looking at Every now and then the tigers would pay some attention to the people observing them. That was when you got your best shots.
SmugMug > all-time keyword > tzo > Tigers got to do what a tigers got to do.. One of the things that strikes you most about this place was the smell. It was like amped up cat pee. Tigers are very smelly when confined.
On to the Tigers
