An upstream, riverside view of the old Interurban Bridge (aka Old Electric Bridge) that spans the Maumee River at the historic location of the dolomite outcrop in the middle of the river, Roche de Boeuf (Roche de Bout).

When built, in 1907, this was the longest reinforced concrete railroad bridge in the world, at 1220 feet. In order to build it, part of Roche de Boeuf, which forms the base for the left-most bridge support in this photo, was destroyed.
