this is the protetive overhang of bus loading bay number one at the downtown bellingham transit terminal. each of those panes is one foot wide so you can see how long and deep the snow hanging off it is. shot this on my way to work. didn't quite have what i was hoping for as the light was real dull as it was snowing pretty good again so i treated it with a bit of neon effect which made it look like a tarted up b&w which i quite like. we were supposed to thaw and have rain today (12/26). you can see how THAT worked in this that i shot walking home from work around 3pm, the blobs are snow coming down in a twenty-five mph breeze.    http://dedmanshootn.smugmug.com/gallery/4855371_JgWrE#443452086_Gpkwh
it is finally warming up and beginning to melt (midnight) tho now they're issuing flood watches. my personal 'flood' hasn't reared its head again thankfully and, Lord willing, we may finally be seeing the last of this particular cold snap
