SmugMug > keywords > xeric > Kalanchoe detail. The purple tubular sepals are as showy as the orange flowers in this kalanchoe. The arrangement of stems holding the blooms seems very unusual to me. The stems branch from a central stalk, then branch again, sending out side stems, rather than branching centrally. In other bloom clusters, this side branching continued, with side branches off of side branches, etc., resulting in some rather tangled clusters.
