My benefactor said that when a man embarks on the paths of sorcery he becomes aware, in a gradual manner, that the ordinary life has been forever left behind; that knowledge is indeed a frightening affair; that the means of the ordinary world are no longer a buffer for him; and that he must adopt a new way of life if he is to survive. The first thing he ought to do, at that point, is want to become a warrior, a very important step and decision. The frightening nature of knowledge leaves one no alternative but to become a warrior.' - don Juan to Carlos Castenada.
'Become indifferent to your death. Upon learning to 'see' a man or woman becomes everything by becoming nothing. A man or woman who sees has, no longer, an interest in his or her fellows. 'Seeing' has already detached them from absolutely everything they knew before.'

I originally started painting Ponte di Diavolo and that can be seen in the Tuscany gallery as '13 of Diamonds' Bridge'. Then i thought of a story from the 'Song of Waitaha' about the Dream of the Blue Duck and the Italian bridge evolved into a stream, a whio (blue duck) endemic to Aotearoa (NZ) and a yogi. You will note another chakra above the sahasrara - this is called the 'gate' chakra and is activated by both the ajna and sahasrara. You won't find this in many texts on the subject, either Eastern or Western, as the new 'tech' for its operation is only be downloaded now.
