11/13 - "Heart over Horsetail Falls" Yosemite National Park. Sunset Spring 2009. I captured this during another outing to capture Horsetail Falls. The water flow over the falls was pretty low this winter. As I was shooting I noticed the winds picking up. Some gusts picked up the trickle of the falls and it puffed up like a cloud - the sun shining on the mist and I froze this moment. This year was almost non-existent for capturing any good Horsetail Falls pictures since it was cloudy and snowing much of February this year - I guess that is what makes this such a hard picture to take since the window for good images is only a few weeks.
