SmugMug > all-time keyword > allergy > 4.5.08 - The Yellow Peril! I put a photo of a field of Oilseed Rape in my Odds'n'Ends gallery a while back, but this is a bit more personal. If it was a field of daffodils we'd all be going "aaaahhhh isn't that pretty", but with Oilseed Rape your nose and eyes are screaming at you well before you get chance to appreciate the colour. This field is a few hundred yards away, where I've taken many of my Cathedral sunsets photos, but I can actually smell the pollen as I type this. I was holding my breath as I took the photo, and couldn't wait to get back into some fresher air. Many people suffer far more than I do, it must be terrible for them to be so close to this stuff, but there is nothing we can do about it. Pass the antihistamines :)

Some of you will remember my industrial dereliction photos that I posted a few weeks ago from an old factory. Well they are now demolishing it, and I've added some shots to the gallery here; http://johnloguk.smugmug.com/gallery/4693092_4Y6PF#P-6-15
