Third Eye Buddha
This interpretation of the Buddha was derived by a painting by my dear friend, Olga Lopata. I looked at Olga's canvas and felt moved to explore it in detail with the camera. What was especially interesting to me is how strangely different this and "Blind Buddha" was from the original, when taken out of context. Additionally, I found it fascinating how I could move the camera but an inch to one side to take another photo (Blind Buddha) and capture yet another image with a completely different meaning... each of which are consistent with the teachings of The Buddha.
