UNT held their homecoming bonfire tonight at Apogee Stadium. Emily and I scaled the tail-end of the stands with a pile of gear to get this shot. Well, I was really there to shoot footage for a cinemagraph, but I snuck a few with the 5D while I was there. It was a good event! A huge number of students were there having a blast, and the fire was big. I counted three drones flying around at once during the event, and zero cops going after pilots. I guess it’s finally sinking in that folks are pretty lax about drones around here. I’ve been skittish about flying at events up until now. Tomorrow should be fun.
OH YEAH! At West Oak today, I had a couple of brand new dishes Amanda made. One is turkey toast, which has a cider cranberry thing on it and some crispy shallots. The other is pumpkin profiteroles, which were so bomb. I’ll be having all of this again soon.
