April 18, 2011- This is a Carpenter Ant, genus Camponotus. Found him on the side of the house eating some type of vegetation. They don't eat wood, they only nest in it. (Day 108:365 @sharkbayte)

April 29, 2011-Stopping by for a quick grazing. I haven't seen the deer in weeks. I was a bit worried but they are back and the little button buck is growing fast, his antlers are sprouting more and he is thin but overall looking good, which made me happy. (Day 119:365 @sharkbayte) Thank you for all the wonderful comments on my shot yesterday!
