Last Day on the North Rim
Yesterday was probably the last day you could conveniently visit the North Rim of the Grand Canyon before it closes for the season. It was snowing and blowing hard when we were driving in. We were hoping for more snow on the rim, but most of it had blown away. The forecast called for a potential break in the clouds to the east, and sure enough, it materialized for us. The light was really nice for a few minutes that morning while distant snow showers moved through the canyon. Not a bad parting shot. We got some really nice sunrise color too, but I'll save that shot for another time.
