Unknown Zimbabwean Art

Well unfortunately, I didn't get a clear photo of the title of this sculpture or the artist. But, as with the Elephant I posted day before yesterday, this is another of the amazing pieces of art from the ZimSculpt show at the Dallas Arboretum.

on Apr 14Absolutely beautiful shot with the lovely sculpture in that bed of grasses with red seedheads...miscanthus of some sort? I love this exhibit that you've photographed. I wish it would come to the Denver Botanic Gardens so I could see it. Of course, it may have come there while we were away full-time RV-ing.

on Apr 14Very stylish. It's fascinating how the same stone can look so different with rough versus polished surfaces. The surrounding plants give a good sense of the scale of the work.
