Clipper Butterfly "Parthenos Sylvia"
Tucson Botanical Gardens, Butterfly Magic, Tucson, AZ Jan 15, 2009 —2150 N Alvernon Way, Tucson Botanical Gardens — Butterfly Magic is back! I’m so pleased!
Are you tired, but need someplace to take some great photos?
Not much walking here. Everything is in a confined area!
Are you bones sore, or you are just a little chilled? I know that’s a hard thing to imagine, but the temps are lowering, and it won’t be long. Butterfly Magic is a wonderful place to go and warm up.
The Tucson Botanical Gardens are located on Alvernon just South of Grant. Not all that far from the Reid Park Zoo. But that’s another story.
Another note, you may want to go several times a year. At least in the past they have targeted different continents each month. So one month you can take photos of Indian butterflies, next month may be African butterflies.
Hint: You can buy butterfly guides for the exhibit in the gift shop. If you are going to share your photos, these guides are well worth it.
