For a special occasion when the wind is not blowing
1937 Alex and Artie friends of family. The shorter guy looks like someone called Artie Johnson. Needed a crutch to get around. (even in photo one leg seems shorter than the other.) When my parents finally got their first tv, ( a stunning 10" screen!) in the late 1940's, my dad had not yet had a chance to put up the outdoor aerial. Instead he attached an aerial wire to the end of Artie's crutch and Artie sat there all night holding the crutch up in the air so we could watch Friday night Wrestling.
