Aurora At Unity Pond 1
Aurora display early on the night of May 17-18, 2013, taken from near home at the old farmstead. The sky is lit by twilight and also by moonlight. Aurora to the north off camera at left is lighting up the north face of the barn green. Moonlight is lighting up the west side in normal colours.

This is a 40-second exposure at f/4.5 and ISO 800 with the 24mm lens and Canon 5D MkII. It is one frame from a 275-frame time-lapse dolly sequence.
